Steyn City opts for Eva-Last

Composite decking boards from Eva-Last were used at premium lifestyle estate Steyn City for the arched bridge over the lagoon. Eva-Last VistaClad was used for the kiosk cladding and LifeSpan was used the architectural showpiece pergola.

As a specification, Eva-Last composite building products used in and around Steyn City’s lagoon meet all architectural guidelines and as a result, can be seen throughout the estate.

Aesthetic value a key differentiator

To reinforce the estate’s high value look and feel, the most significant factor when specifying product was based on aesthetic value and character. According to Steyn City architects, what sets Eva-Last product apart is not only the versatility of product application, but the extensive colour range which offers the most natural timber look, while the high performance of Eva-Last products ensures UV resistance, providing a long-lasting quality aesthetic.

Lasting durability essential

To ensure a sustained quality finish, selecting Infinity I-Series deck boards for the arched bridge over the lagoon allows for high traffic tolerance without any of the wear, thanks to the boards anti-scratch performance properties. Complementing the bridge and its low-maintenance requirements is VistaClad, used to clad the kiosk, and LifeSpan, used for the architectural showpiece pergola. The use of LifeSpan for the pergola showcases superior design versatility while offering structural integrity that is highly durable and weather resistant.
