As building security becomes smarter, the need for electronic access control systems spreads further. With Aperio technology all doors can easily be upgraded and wirelessly linked to the access control system by using Aperio battery powered electronic locking devices with integrated RFID card readers – optimising access control and boosting security.
Because Aperio is built using open technology standards, access control devices can integrate seamlessly with systems like Incedo, Lenel, Impro, Axis Communications, Gallagher, Genetec, Tyco, Honeywell, amongst others.
No matter what security level you need, Aperio has devices for any door type and application. Some rooms demand additional security protocols like scheduled authorisations or fire protection. Others with high traffic need to permit quick and convenient access to anyone who can enter. Aperio can handle it. It can be installed in multiple sites for data centres, multi-unit residentials, commercial and hotel applications.
Looking at some of the products from the Aperio range we have the high security L100 security lock with integrated door sensors. This lock has an 850kg side force, making it perfect for your exterior doors.
H100 is a contemporary and intelligent handle which can be integrated into any access control system via AADP protocol integration or via Aperio Wiegand Hub. It is ideal for interior doors with easy fitment – just remove the old mechanical handle and install the new H100 to have a fully access controlled door.
It is important to mention that considering the POPI Act in place, and the focus on data security, the KS100 and KS200 server rack locks enable the server racks to be incorporated into your company’s access control system. In shared data centres, these are ideal to manage access only to the relevant IT technicians.
Our locks are enabled for mobile credentials to improve security – use your mobile phone to access doors with the H100 and E100 which are fully NFC and BLE compatible. The C100 will be released in a BLE version shortly as well.
Installing wireless locks is far more cost-effective than hard-wiring doors into an access control system – no cabling or invasive building work around the door is needed. Aperio makes for an easy and attractive upgrade to your access control system.
