Bosch Rexroth Egypt open for Business

To satisfy the demand for high-quality hydraulic, pneumatic and automation solutions in the country, Bosch Rexroth Egypt has opened for business. Established in June 2020, and located in the country’s capital, Cairo, Bosch Rexroth Egypt will expand to offer the full availability of Bosch Rexroth products and a wide range of complementary products, service and solutions to ensure shorter turnaround from order to delivery.

The local team, in close cooperation with Bosch Rexroth Egypt’s established professional partner network, serves the automation products, solutions and services needs of both the end-user market and local distributors. “We see a lot of potential for our planned activities in sales, service, repair and customisation across multiple Egyptian industries,” says Abderrahim Ait-Yacine, General Manager, Bosch Rexroth Egypt.

“As a strong regional and continental economy, Egypt offers attractive potential for new markets. In close cooperation with our local professional partner network,” Ait-Yacine asserts. The full Bosch Rexroth product range, complementary products, services and solutions are available to serve the needs of those markets.

Egyptian industries that can make use of Bosch Rexroth’s offering, include power generation, oil & gas, metallurgy, cement, heavy machinery, construction, food & beverage, automotive & transportation, packaging, plastic, press, ports, aerospace and electronics.

“In early 2020 we received the go-ahead for the establishment of Bosch Rexroth in Egypt,” says Tillmann Olsen, Regional President, Africa, Bosch Rexroth AG and CEO of the Bosch Rexroth South Africa Group of Companies. “Despite COVID-19, we were able to recruit employees and set up the ERP system in this short time. This allowed us to win the first order in a very short time, which has already been successfully delivered.

Egypt ranks alongside South Africa and Nigeria as among Africa’s largest economies, and is home to an approximate 100 million-strong population. Bosch Rexroth in Egypt is located at:

Plot No. 112, Industrial Zone, north of Katameya Road, Al Ain Al Sokhna Road, Third Settlement, New Cairo, Egypt. The company can be contacted on tel: +20 128 8192500.
